Raporti Vjetor 2025 – World Vision Albania

Throughout 2025, World Vision Albania was present in 23 municipalities in Albania and four municipalities in Montenegro. Collaborating with a wide network of partners, WVA’s initiatives positively impacted the lives of 23,914 children and 5,652 adults, through diverse programming across education, social protection, livelihoods, and advocacy.

2025 in numbers:

1,162 adolescents were actively engaged across 45 IMPACT+ groups, leading 20 community

initiatives on environment, conservation, and neighbourhood improvement.

Over 1,000 children and 130 teachers participated in Albania’s first Summer School.

1,500 children and adolescents benefited from psychosocial and mental health activities at the KIA Green Light Centre in Librazhd.

1,563 families received direct support including food packages, evouchers, clothing, and emergency supplies, ensuring that the most vulnerable had what they needed, when they needed it.

230 farmers were trained in animal care, farm management, and dairy processing.

159 families received dairy cows and goats, transforming household nutrition and income in rural Durrës.

65 families in Dibër are now earning four to five times more than before through medicinal and aromatic plant cultivation.

105 women were trained in microfinance and business planning.

160 women affected by gender-based violence received psychological, legal, social, and

health support through 859 counselling sessions.

72 volunteers mobilised across 14 municipalities through EU4SocialCare, supporting disability

services, child protection, and social care.

2 laws approved by Parliament, the Youth Law and the Volunteering Law, following extensive

consultations with young people across the country.

2 new centres opened: the Multifunctional Youth Centre in Durrës, and the CareerPro Hub in Lezhë
