Public Announcement: Call for Expressions of Interest to Be Invited to Bid for Livestock Procurement

World Vision Albania is pleased to announce an open call for Expressions Of Interest (EOI) from parties wishing to be invited to participate in an upcoming tender for the procurement of livestock. This tender will seek to identify qualified suppliers who can provide high-quality livestock to meet our specific requirements.

Details of the EOI:

EOI Title: Expression of Interest for Livestock Procurement

Scope:

  1. Supply of Saanen/Alpine 2 – 3 months pregnant Dairy Young Goats.

Weight: minimum 45- 55 kg

Breed: Saanen/Alpine

Pedigree: 100 %+ Pure bloodline

Quantity: 250 pieces

  •  Supply of Holstein 4 – 7 months pregnant Dairy Heifers.

Weight: minimum 450-600 kg

Breed: Holstein

Pedigree: 95%+ Pure bloodline

Quantity: 100 pieces

We are open to invite all the interested suppliers, whatever the quantity they are able to provide.

Delivery Location: Durres, Albania

Delivery Timeline: July/ August 2024

Submission Requirements:

Interested parties are requested to submit their expression of interest, which should include the following:

  • Company Name
  • Contact Person
  • E-mail address and Telephone number
  •  

Submission Method:

Expressions Of Interest should be submitted electronically only via email to the address: soela_qirjo@wvi.org. 

Submission Deadline:

All expressions of interest must be submitted by COB 13th of June, 2024. Late submissions will not be considered.

Next Steps:

Upon receipt and review of the expressions of interest, interested parties will be invited to participate in the formal tender process.

Invitations to bid will be issued electronically through the World Vision Albania system where you would be invited to submit your financial and Technical offers, which will include:

  • Proof of a registered business entity or individual with proven experience in livestock supply.
  • Compliance with all relevant local and international regulations pertaining to livestock trade.
  • Capability to provide veterinary certifications, Certificate of Origin, pregnancy proof and health records for all livestock.
  • Financial stability to ensure fulfillment of contract obligations.
  • At least 1-month warranty from delivery date and possibility to be transferable to the beneficiaries/ third parties.

The submission of the financial offers on any other form will not be taken in consideration.
