71 anëtarë të komuniteteve lokale në Dibër janë bërë pjesë e takimeve ndërgjegjësuese për rëndësinë e përdorimit të qendrueshëm të burimeve natyrore dhe përfitimet që sjell ekosistemi natyror në ekonominë lokale.
Ruajtja e biodiversitetit në parkun Korab-Koritnik ndikon drejtpërdrejt në përmirësimin e jetës së banorëve, pasi parku natyror ka potencial të madh për ekonominë lokale.
Takime ndërgjegjësuese po zhvillohen në 10 fshatra të njësive administrative Maqellarë, Kastriot dhe Melan, ndërsa 100 persona do të përfitojnë drejtpërdrejt nga projekti. Ata do të pajisen me aftësi mbi teknikat e grumbullimit, kultivimit dhe tharjes së bimëve medicinale pa dëmtuar ekosistemin.
Projekti “Përmirësimi i jetesës përmes ruajtjes së biodiversitetit të parkut natyror Korab-Koritnik” financohet nga Prespa Ohrid Nature Trust – PONT dhe zbatohet nga World Vision Albania në bashkëpunim me Agritra Vizion.

71 members of the local communities in Dibra have participated in awareness-raising meetings about the importance of sustainable use of natural resources and the benefits that the natural ecosystem brings to the local economy.
Preservation of biodiversity in the park of Korab-Koritnik directly impacts the life of residents, since the natural park has a great potential for the local economy.
Awareness-raising meetings are being held in 10 villages of Maqellara, Kastriot and Melan administrative units, whereas 100 people will benefit directly from the project. They will learn skills on techniques of gathering, cultivation and drying of medicinal plants without harming the ecosystem.
“Improving life by preserving the biodiversity of the natural park of Korab-Koritnik” project is financed by Prespa Ohrid Nature Trust-PONT and is being implemented by World Vision ALbania in collaboration with Agritra Vizion.
